I am Purity Godfrey, known to traders as Rity, a trained geophysicist, Forex trader, educator and mentor.
My journey into trading did not begin with charts or candlesticks. It began with a mindset. I was trained to think analytically as a geophysicist, in a field built on observation, data analysis, pattern recognition and evidence based decision making.
Long before I entered the financial markets, I had developed the habit of studying complex systems, analysing patterns, interpreting data and drawing conclusions based on evidence rather than assumptions. That mindset became one of my greatest advantages when I entered the world of trading and naturally shaped the way I approached the financial markets.
While many people were searching for shortcuts, better indicators and the next winning strategy, I was searching for better understanding. I became fascinated by one question:
Why does price move the way it does?
That question changed everything and became the foundation of my entire trading journey. The deeper I explored the markets, the clearer it became that much of trading education focused on signals, setups and what the market was doing, but rarely explained why it was happening or the underlying behaviour driving each market movement.
The internet was full of strategies. People were taught entries without context, patterns without understanding, indicators without purpose, signals without explanation and strategies without principles. Surrounded by conflicting information, many traders found themselves trapped in an endless cycle of confusion. Every losing trade pushed them toward another strategy, another indicator, another mentor, or another promise, yet very little changed.
I realised that consistent profitability was not about finding another strategy, so I committed myself to studying the market itself, not just where price moved, but why.
I immersed myself in understanding liquidity, market structure, institutional behaviour, macroeconomic influences, risk management, trader psychology and the decision making processes that separate professional traders from emotional ones.
Over time, something remarkable happened. Trading became less about prediction and more about probability, less about excitement and more about discipline, less about finding perfect entries and more about understanding market behaviour. That shift has transformed my trading, shaped how I teach and influenced the traders I mentor. Over the years, the results have continued to speak for themselves.
Our Story
Rity Trade Hub was created to solve a deeper problem. Not a shortage of strategies, but a shortage of understanding, discipline, risk awareness and structured decision making.
Over the years, I have observed that many traders do not fail because they lack strategies. They fail because they have not developed the ability to understand market behaviour, manage risk effectively, control their emotions and follow a structured decision making process. That is the problem Rity Trade Hub was created to solve.
In 2020, I founded Rity Trade Hub Ltd. because I believed traders deserved something better than another signal group or another collection of trading strategies. I was not trying to build another trading community. The internet already had enough of those.
I wanted to create an environment where education comes before execution, where every concept is explained with clarity, where traders understand before risking capital, where confidence is built through knowledge instead of hope, where discipline becomes a habit rather than an afterthought, where students do not become dependent on signals and where trading becomes a skill that can be understood, reviewed, improved and repeated.

My Philosophy
Understanding is the most valuable tool in a trader’s arsenal.
Profitable trading is the natural outcome of consistently making quality decisions and the quality of those decisions come from the depth of your understanding. Understanding why price moves, understanding market structure, understanding where liquidity exists, understanding institutional behaviour, understanding macroeconomic events, understanding probabilities, understanding when to wait and when to act, understanding risk, discipline, yourself and why protecting capital is just as important as growing it.
When understanding improves, decision making improves and so do the results. The market becomes easier to navigate when you stop trying to predict everything and start learning how to interpret what it is already communicating.
People often ask me, “What’s your strategy?” My strategy is not my greatest tool. My understanding is.
Strategies can stop working. Market conditions, volatility, economic environments, artificial intelligence and technology can all change. But understanding allows you to evolve with the market.
